Customer Service 
The Customer Service Department of the City of Bardstown provides
support to customers of Electric, Cable TV, Cable Internet, Water,
Sewer and Sanitation (trash pickup) Services. They are also the
billing clerks for the above services as well as Property Taxes
and Business Licenses. There are seven full-time customer service
clerks. These clerks are responsible for the accounts of approximately
4200 Electric customers, 8000 Cable customers, 784 Cable Internet
customers, 5787 Sewer customers, 9000 Water customers and 4472 Sanitation
customers.
Bardstown Customer Service is responsible for taking payments and
service applications, as well as answering questions, resolving
problems and billing customers. Payments by electronic fund transfer,
Cash, Check and Money Order are accepted.
The office is open daily to walk-in customers, except on holidays,
from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Customer phone calls are answered by
a Customer Service Representative each weekday from 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. After-hour utility calls are received by a dispatcher.
